Talento Trento
This clear, straw-color Italian
sparkling wine is fully carbonated with
a fine and persistent bubble stream that
lasts for a full hour in a glass left
untouched as a curious experiment. Clean
apple and light toast aromas lead into a
creamy and full flavor, tart apples
nicely balanced by fresh-fruit acidity,
fresh and long. A very fine sparkling
wine made by the traditional
fermented-in-the-bottle process used in
Champagne, it's made from a
Champagne-like blend of 90% Chardonnay

Chef Sam's Most Requested Holiday Recipe
Holiday Seafood Salad
Chef Sam is

Here's a great dish that you can cook at your
house!

Ingredients: |
Procedure:
(Tastes best if
prepared the day before serving)
Bring 6 cups water and salt to a
boil in a large saucepan over
medium-high heat. Blanch
calamari, remove from pan with a
slotted spoon. Plunge calamari
into ice water; drain.
Add shrimp to boiling water;
cook 3 minutes or until done.
Remove shrimp from pan with a
slotted spoon. Plunge shrimp
into ice water; drain. Add
shrimp to bowl with calamari.
Place a vegetable steamer in
pan. Reduce heat to medium-low.
Arrange scallops in steamer;
cook over simmering water 6
minutes or until done. Plunge
scallops into ice water; drain.
Add scallops to bowl.
Clean mussels, bring water back
to a boil, add the mussels, and
cover. When the steam begins
forcing its way out from beneath
the lid, lower the heat to
medium and steam for five
minutes. Add mussels to
bowl.
Add remaining ingredients (which
you can add more or less of each
to taste) to bowl and toss
lightly, chill.
Yield 6 servings (serving size:

|

|

tablespoons extra virgin olive
oil or to taste |

white wine vinegar to taste |

tablespoons chopped fresh
flat-leaf parsley |
|
|
3
tablespoons chopped garlic or to
taste |
|
|
lemon (optional or to taste) |
|
|
|
